Ensure your brand-specific and proprietary terms are preserved during the AI-powered translations process with Custom Terminology.

Managed by the Multi Language Manager role. Found under Admin Tool → System → Multi Language Admin.

Terms added to this list are preserved during the translations process. Only the term assigned to a specific language will be applied.

The Custom Terminology panel includes best practices and recommendations for getting the most out of this feature.

Adding Terms

You can add terms manually by clicking Add Custom Term, which surfaces an input modal for specifying the term in each language. Saved terms appear in the Custom Terminology panel.

For bulk additions, download the template via Download Template, fill it with your terms, and upload it using Upload Terminology File.

When you run a translation, the system scans your custom terms list and ensures that matching English terms are replaced with the corresponding language-specific term.

Limits

  • A maximum of 150 custom terms are supported.
  • Terms are case-sensitive.
