Content Generation

For some content you can generate Tests, Flashcards, Observation Checklists, & Question Banks with a simple click of a button. This is available for the following content types:

  • Documents
  • PDFs
  • Images
  • Videos, if they include subtitles
  • .docx
  • .pptx
  • .xlsx

Once you click the Generate Content button in the top right corner, you'll have a few options. Such as whether you wanted it to be a test or a question bank, etc.

From there, you can review, edit or make any changes. This content can now be used just like any other piece of content in our system.

Limitations

Be aware that the tool was designed to be fed a general training document, and have it produce an arbitrary set of questions based on the content of that file.

This system is not designed to be a direct one-to-one converter. For example, if you have a document that has numerous questions and answers in them in the form of a test, the results might not come out the way you expect. A question with multiple choices in the document could end up as a true false, etc.

Example:

  • Document: which direction do you need to go to get to Santa Claus's workshop? North, South, East, or West?
  • Generated Test: You have to go north to get to Santa's workshop. True or False?

Unfortunately, no level of specificity of the generation can be detailed. Anything beyond what is arbitrarily generated must be manually created or edited.

AI Generated Module Creation

AI Generated Module Creation builds a complete module for you from a prompt, a document, or both, in the Learning Path builder. See AI Generated Module Creation for details.

Image Describer

Available in the Description field of any image file that's been uploaded via the Content tab, creates image descriptions with a click.

You can then edit or Save to save the text. You must click save to retain the description.

Media Descriptions

Our AI engine generates descriptions of your media content.

For PDFs and video files where subtitles have been uploaded or created, there is now an AI icon found on the Description field of your media details.

You can then edit or Save to save the text. You must click save to retain the description.

Textract

When a PDF is uploaded in the Admin Tool, the text within the PDF is 'read' by the LMS and indexed for search.

When a user executes a Global Search, if there are matches found within a PDF that is inside of a Module, the matching PDF will appear in the Media search results.

You can remove these from search. See: Global Search.
