If we had pushed out this release a few weeks earlier, I could've made a fun joke about the fact that we had no release this month. But we actually have the opposite of that. We have all kinds of good stuff coming your way.

  • General Improvements
    • We're releasing a limited "Folder Feature" for media. See this article for more info.
    • We have expanded the types of content which you can use with our AI Content Generation feature, to now also include: .docx, .pptx, & .xlsx files.
    • We've added the ability to provide a universally unique Certificate number attached to a certificate. This is done by adding the Certificate's UUID onto the Certificate
    • ServSafe Type I connections. Now when Users click into the Servsafe link from the Links widget, they will get an identity confirmation modal.
    • Login Page backgrounds: now we support videos!
    • Event Sessions URL Validation: We now validate URLs in event sessions. We default the prefix to https://, but also support the non-secure http:// if needed.
    • Bulk Profile Field Value Deletion. You can use standard keyboard shortcuts to multi select or continuous select values before deleting.
    • Enrollment Status Report now has an Exclude Recommended Enrollments filter so you can exclude data related to recommended enrollments from the report.
    • Media: Displaying only User Contribution media items from the Media page is now possible with a new filter.
    • We have also made scores of minor tweaks and bug fixes to improve your day-to-day use of all of the Wisetail suite of tools.
  • Learning Progress Report Improvements
    • Added column: Module UUID.
    • Added the ability to sort by Progress.
    • Better filtering when adding modules to the report.
  • Learning Path Improvements
    • We have added comments to learning paths, like you can use in modules.
    • New Learning Path Role Ability to allow specific roles to have the ability to use the new Learning Path Builder. Note: if this role does not have Manage Modules enabled, the Manage New Builder Modules ability cannot be enabled. Once Manage Modules has been enabled, the option to enable Manage New Builder Modules is available.
    • We've improved the filtering when adding a Section from Library.
  • Chatbot Improvements
    • When the chatbot is processing a user's question, there is now more clear feedback letting the user know the system is still processing its response.
    • Users will no longer be autoscrolled to the bottom of the Chatbot's response. Instead, the response is filled down the window and the user stays at the top of the chat window.
    • Rather than a large text blob, responses are now formatted to be more user-friendly, with line breaks and elements such as bullet points and bolding to make it easier for users to read through the response.
    • The new "Full Screen" button allows an expanded window to chat in.
  • Drive Improvements
    • Currently, when using Wisetail Drive you can use off-line mode. This allows users to access your content without having an Internet connection. However, in some cases, you may not want to have a particular piece of content downloaded onto devices, such as when it is excessively large for saving on every device. We are therefore introducing Streaming Only, which prevents that content from ever being automatically downloaded to the device.
  • LMS Mobile App Improvements
    • New Requirements for the operating systems:
      • iOS 15.1+
      • Android 5+
    • We've added Biometric Login support for the LMS app. Users can log into the Wisetail LMS Mobile App using their device's native biometric capabilities such as FaceID, TouchID and Android Biometrics.
  • OnTrack Improvements
    • This release marks the beginning of integrating the functionality of the OnTrack app into the Wisetail Drive app. It's going to be a slow rollout to ensure we don't break things along the way. So you won't really have anything to see yet. We'll have more to say about this in the future. Keep your eyes peeled, it's going to be delightful.
