Only editable and viewable to Super Admins, the Folder feature lets you create organizational folders in the Media page so they can better track and organize your media content.
New Folders
- Create an empty folder. To create a new folder, from the Media summary page, click on the drop down arrow next to Add Media and select Create Folder.
- Create folder from selection from the drop down menu, after selecting one or more pieces of media. The selected media items will be bundled up and placed in the newly created folder.
Move to Folder
To move a media item(s) into an existing folder, select the desired items, and from the drop down menu, and select Move to Folder. Select the desired folder.
Move to Media Page
Moving a media file out of a folder and back to the main Media library is now easier with the new Move to Media Page option. From a folder, select the media items you want to move back to the media overview page and select Move to Media Page from the available drop down options.
Notes
- Folders can be nested X layers deep.
- You can set a custom image for the folder's thumbnail.
- Any user who is not a Super Admin will continue to see all media in a single unstructured environment.
- These folders are not usable in Drive, and are independent from Drive folders.
