Only editable and viewable to Super Admins, the Folder feature lets you create organizational folders in the Media page so they can better track and organize your media content.

New Folders

  • Create an empty folder. To create a new folder, from the Media summary page, click on the drop down arrow next to Add Media and select Create Folder.
  • Create folder from selection from the drop down menu, after selecting one or more pieces of media. The selected media items will be bundled up and placed in the newly created folder.

Move to Folder

To move a media item(s) into an existing folder, select the desired items, and from the drop down menu, and select Move to Folder. Select the desired folder.

Move to Media Page

To move media items out of a folder and back to the main Media library, select the desired items from within the folder and choose Move to Media Page from the dropdown options.

Notes

  • Search returns matches whether content lives on the main Media overview page or inside a media folder.
  • Folders can be nested X layers deep.
  • You can set a custom image for the folder's thumbnail.
  • Any user who is not a Super Admin will continue to see all media in a single unstructured environment.
  • These folders are not usable in Drive, and are independent from Drive folders.
