This month is a big one for multilanguage users and operational teams alike. AI-powered translations land in Learning Paths, the Chatbot opens up to all Users, and OnTrack gets a proper audit trail. Let's get into it.
-
General Improvements
- The Chatbot is now available to all Users upon client request. Previously limited to super admins, the Chatbot can be enabled for your entire user base. Responses adhere to content access controls.
- New: AI Translations in Learning Paths. You can now use AI to translate module text and content items into any language enabled on your system. Includes support for Tests, Homework, Flashcards, Observation Checklists, Events, Text Blocks, and more.
- New: Custom Terminology. Ensure your brand-specific and proprietary terms are preserved during AI translations. Add up to 150 custom terms (case-sensitive) that the system will leave untranslated. Found under Admin Tool → System → Multi Language Admin.
- Certificates: Additional standard fonts are now available (Georgia, Verdana, Arial, Arial Black, Impact) in addition to Helvetica, Courier, and Times New Roman.
- Points: You can now automatically award points to users on their birthday and/or work anniversary. Configure under System → Settings → Points.
- User-to-User profile fields now have a Tree View in addition to the List view, displaying relationships in a descending hierarchy. Circular relationships are detected and flagged.
- Media Folders: You can now move media items back out of a folder to the main Media library with the new Move to Media Page option.
- Resizable Image Cropping Tool: You can now resize the crop box while maintaining a fixed aspect ratio across all image upload locations (Pages widgets, App Settings logo, Module cover images, Dialogs, Certifications).
- We have also made scores of minor tweaks and bug fixes to improve your day-to-day use of all of the Wisetail suite of tools.
-
Learning Progress Report Improvements
- New filter: Report On: Users with Access. Limits report data to users that currently have access to the selected modules.
- New filter: User Status (Active/Inactive). Get report data for only users in a particular status.
- Data Explorer in the By Module view. Completion percentages are now clickable links that surface a data explorer modal showing individual user progress and completion dates. Searchable and exportable to CSV.
-
Learning Path Improvements
- Flashcards in Learning Paths now shuffle questions on each retry, matching the behavior found in Classic Modules.
-
Drive Improvements
- Streaming-only Media: You can now mark individual media items as streaming-only, preventing them from being downloaded to devices. The thumbnail and metadata still sync for search and listing, but viewing requires an internet connection.
- Drive mobile navigation improvements for a more consistent branded experience.
-
LMS Mobile App Improvements
- Updated Home UI: The In-App Inbox, Calendar, Share, and Connect pages are now available directly from the Home screen.
- New: Calendar. Users can now track upcoming enrollments and events from a dedicated Calendar page accessible from the Home screen. Supports Month and List views, and can sync with the device calendar.
-
OnTrack Improvements
- Edit Action from Checklist Fulfillment Page: Users can now edit active actions without leaving the checklist fulfillment page. An Edit Action button appears below each generated action card and opens an inline edit modal.
- New: Action Activity Log. Every action has a chronological Activity Log accessible from the 3-dot menu. It records creation, edits, due date changes, user tag changes, priority toggles, and status transitions.
