When viewing any report within the Wisetail platform you can hover your mouse over a row of data, and view a User Profile Tile.
Hovering over the user’s name will display a tile with additional information about that user. By default, the user profile tile will display a user’s first and last name, username and their assigned roles.
To add more values to the user profile tile, Admins will head over to the Profile Fields section of
the Admin Tool. Each Profile Field, has a setting called User Profile Tile. By default, no additional fields are included in the user profile tile.
Admins have the ability to add up to five (5) profile fields to the tile and can do so by checking
Display on User Profile Tile for a particular profile field. Profile Tiles will display profile field values regardless of permissions or visibility, including Invisible profile fields. So you need to be extraordinarily careful about which profile fields you select for inclusion in tiles.
Once the maximum number of 5 profile tile fields have been selected, this section will be greyed out and no new profile fields can be added. Admins can go into already selected fields and remove them from the tile to make room.
On the Profile Fields summary page, Profile Fields that have been added to the Profile Tile have a special icon displayed in their row.
Once a profile field has been selected to appear in the Profile Tile, that additional field will appear in the pop-up tile found in reports.
