From the Modules page, Admins are able to select Duplicate under drop down menu next to a module.

When clicked, the Admin will see a modal asking them to select a role they want to duplicate the Module under. Super Admins will see all roles in the system; Partial Admins will see a list of roles they have been assigned. The Role must have “Manage Modules” enabled to see the Roles from the drop down list.

Once a role has been selected, the Admin is provided with an audience preview so that they can validate that it’s the intended audience of the duplicate module.

Admins can then select from two options: Keep content-level permissions and Keep module-level permissions.

Keep Content-Level Permissions

Enabling this option means that permissions that have been applied to individual pieces of content inside the module will be applied to the duplicate content in the copy of the module.

Keep Module-Level Permissions

Enabling this option means that any permissions that have been added to the overall module will be applied to the copy of the module.

Note: When duplicating a module that contains another module inside, the nested module does not get duplicated in the newly created module. Reference to the original nested module will continue to live in the duplicated module.

The Admin will then be taken to the newly created Module and they will be able to see the locked audience rules for the Role they selected. Please see Module Permissions Locked Audience for more information.

If the admin selected any of the check boxes to duplicate permissions, they will also be reflected in the duplicated module.

NOTE: If the Module is Active at the time of the duplication, the duplicate module will also be Active. If the Module is Inactive at the time of the duplication, the duplicate will also be Inactive.

On the Modules pill, Admins will be able to see the Modules they duplicated under a different Role.

Content Duplication

If an Admin is duplicating a Module from one role to the same role, Media content will not be duplicated. If an Admin is duplicating a Module into another role, Media content will be duplicated under the new associated role and be visible to the Admin under their Media page.
